Exactly 5 weeks from today, we'll kick off our 2010 Sodhoppers season at Pine Grove. Hells, yeah! Our season will start April 28 and runs through August 25.
We want to welcome two new players - Steve Orlando, Jr. (MEB drummer) and his partner Tim Kulikowski. They're taking the spot of Joe Ohaver and Tom Cardinal.
There will be one other change - Mike Hart is being deployed to Afghanistan and will not be able to play this summer. Mike Moritz is working on a replacement partner, possibly Frank Cook from previous seasons. Mike, another former player, Al Huntington (was Manny's partner), has expressed an interest in rejoining us, so let me know what happens.
Otherwise, everybody is back! I have shuffled the teams/divisions a little to just add a little variety to our lives. The scoring and rules haven't changed - except Reitzel is never allowed to win again (just kidding, Mike).
League fee will once again be $275, due the first week of the season. Make checks payable to "Cadaret Grant" (no cash, please) and give them to Jeff Klein. Also, you will once again have the opportunity to reserve a cart for the entire season. The cost for the cart is $216 per person, and you can add it in to your payment for league fees. Klein tells me that he needs a head count of cart reservations by April 1. Please contact Jeff if you want to reserve a cart.
